When I was asked to collaborate with other educational practitioners I was humbled beyond belief. This was an opportunity for me to explain why I decided to set up Pudding and Pie in the first place. It explains why my passion for helping children will always shine bright.
This book is about the cognitive benefits of extra curricular activities. How what we teach our pupils help them on so many different levels. Our cooking classes are so much more than teaching children to be healthy. We help children grow in confidence as they learn how to create something with their own fair hands. We teach children about the importance of listening, sharing and teamwork. Children learn about the wonder of science as they begin to understand about raising agents, melting points and how chemistry plays a part in the ingredients involved in the baking process.
