“Before joining Pudding and Pie, I was a stay-at-home mum looking for something more fulfilling than going back to a job that didn’t light me up. I’ve always loved cooking, studied health and nutrition, and I’m even exploring Herbalism — so I wanted a career that actually aligned with my passions and allowed me to still be present for my children.
Pudding and Pie brought everything together perfectly. Running my own children’s cooking business means I get to teach little ones valuable life skills in a fun, hands-on way. Seeing their confidence grow in the kitchen is incredibly rewarding, and it finally feels like I’ve found a career that allows me to be my own boss while still doing something meaningful.
From day one, Nikki has gone above and beyond to help me launch on the right path. Her support, guidance and knowledge have been unbelievable. I honestly don’t think we’d be off to such a strong start without her — she’s been a lifeline!
In just four months, I’ve launched 5 schools, 2 Saturday morning community cooking classes, and a growing Home Ed group, with another potential school on the horizon. The systems, logos, documents and training provided meant I could hit the ground running without feeling overwhelmed.
Joining Pudding and Pie has been life-changing — it’s given me a business I love, flexibility for my family, and a sense of purpose I didn’t know I was missing.”

“Before Pudding and Pie I was working in early years, Montessori specifically, where cooking and practical life is a normal and integral part of their everyday curriculum. The benefits, joy, fun and sense of achievement that this brings the children is never ending. It was my favourite part of the day, seeing the fruits of their labour from seed to table. Cooking has always been something I have enjoyed and I made it part of my own children’s life as well which has served them well into adulthood. It’s such an underrated skill, and not all children have access to it, so when I saw an opportunity to do exactly this, I jumped at the chance! I wanted to be in control of how I worked but at the same time, alongside an established and successful franchise which is exactly what Pudding and Pie is.
The training has been ongoing, supportive and encouraging. I’m loving the journey so far!”

“Before joining Pudding and Pie, I was a secondary school Food Technology teacher. I absolutely loved teaching — the practical lessons, the theory, and sharing everything I’d learned during my food degree. But the workload and pressure of full-time teaching eventually became too much. I wanted a better balance, more time for my health, and a role where I could still do what I love.
Pudding and Pie gave me exactly that. I now have the flexibility to look after myself while still getting to teach and inspire children through cooking — the best parts of teaching, without the stress.
What I enjoy most are the children. Their excitement, their enthusiasm, the way they dive into every recipe — they make me laugh every single day. I love how curious they are when I explain fun food facts, and watching them grow in confidence, try new foods and feel proud of what they’ve created is just magic.
One of my funniest moments was during a lesson where the children were rubbing flour and butter together. A little girl looked down at her bowl and very seriously announced, ‘Miss… this looks like a chicken dinner!’ I still have no idea how she made that connection, but we all burst out laughing.
My proudest moment has definitely been delivering school assemblies on my own — standing in front of up to 400 children and staff. I was incredibly shy growing up, so being able to speak confidently to such a large audience feels like a huge personal achievement. It made me realise how far I’ve come.
If you’re considering joining the Pudding and Pie team, I’d say do it. If you love working with children, enjoy hands-on teaching, and want a job that lets you have fun while still making a real impact, this is the perfect fit. The flexibility is life-changing, and the work is so rewarding.”

“I absolutely love working with all our lovely children because it’s not just about teaching them cooking skills — it’s about sharing meaningful life lessons. For me, it brings together all the best bits of teaching without the pressure: the creativity, the lightbulb moments, the confidence-building and the joy of seeing children grow.
When we cook and bake together, it’s a heartwarming experience that sparks independence and self-belief. Their faces light up with pride when they try a new recipe or show off a dish they’ve made all by themselves — and that feeling never gets old.
Cooking together is a real teamwork adventure too. It builds communication, patience, problem-solving and essential life skills that stay with them far beyond the kitchen.
Being part of Pudding and Pie gives me the perfect life–work balance and a career that feels meaningful. I get to enjoy the parts of teaching I’ve always loved while helping children develop confidence, resilience and a lifelong passion for cooking.”

“Before joining Pudding & Pie, my entire career had been in the corporate world. I’d worked in Sales and Marketing roles within the pharmaceutical industry — structured, fast-paced, and not always the most creative. I reached a point where I wanted more freedom, more flexibility, and the chance to be a more present mother and wife.
What really drew me to Pudding & Pie was the idea of bringing fun and creativity back into my working life. I loved the thought of inspiring young minds, giving children confidence through cooking and, in my own way, creating a little legacy.
I’ve already had so many memorable moments. The funniest was definitely when I tried to squeeze the air out of a bag of flour and it exploded all over my lap — classic!
But the sweetest moment was watching a young girl transition from our ‘little learners’ to the preschool group. She listened so carefully, followed every step and absolutely nailed her chocolate chip cookies. Nursery staff told me later it boosted her confidence and made her more excited for the move into the preschool room. That’s the magic of Pudding & Pie.
To anyone considering joining the team, I’d say: if you’re feeling the nudge, follow it. Have a chat with Nikki and explore the opportunity properly. Before I joined, I felt excited but also scared — it was a big change. But Nikki was so supportive from day one. No question was too small, and no request was ever too much.
She’s an inspiring leader and has built a wonderful, warm team that I feel genuinely honoured to be part of.”

“I love working at Pudding & Pie because I have always been passionate about food, and I love working with children, so to be able to combine the two really is a dream come true.
Nikki and the team are fantastic. Nikki has put in so much effort to ensure that I’m fully trained and feeling confident in delivering classes on my own, and the rest of the team are always on hand to offer support whenever I need it.
As a mum of 3 primary school-age children, it was really important for me to find a job that fitted in around my busy family life, and Pudding & Pie does that perfectly.”

“Before joining Pudding and Pie, I worked in the corporate world of recruitment, specialising in hiring social workers. Before that, I spent years working directly with children with challenging behaviours and completed a degree in psychology — so supporting young people has always been at the heart of what I do.
What I love most about Pudding and Pie is the variety. Every child, every setting, every school is completely different — no two days ever look the same. I love watching the children’s faces light up when they learn something new, and seeing the pride they feel at the end of a session when they hold up the dish they’ve created. Those moments are everything.
If you’re thinking about joining the team, I’d say this: you need to be flexible, fun and very open-minded. No two children learn in the same way, and no two sessions are ever identical! You have to be adaptable, calm in the chaos and ready to spin a hundred spoons at once — but if you thrive on that energy, it’s honestly such a rewarding role. And yes… sometimes you do need a quiet lie-down afterwards!
For me, Pudding and Pie is the perfect blend of my background in psychology, my love for children, and my desire to do something meaningful while keeping each day exciting and different. I absolutely love being part of the team and helping children grow through food, fun and confidence.”
